Host Your Website on our Servers for Free
When you subscribe to our Professional mailbox option, have 6 or more
mailboxes in a group account or pay an extra £3/month, we'll setup a
special folder in your Web Folder hierarchy called Website and
we'll enable our webserver to treat the contents of that folder, and any
subfolders, as a publicly accessible website.
The webserver is Microsoft Internet Information Server 6 (IIS6) which can interpret
ASP.NET webpages as well as standard HTML pages.
The webserver supports ASP.NET 1, 2, & 3 plus it has the ASP.NET AJAX extensions installed.
The URL to reach your website would be, say:-
https://exchange.arrowmail.co.uk/webfolders/jsconsulting/website/
but if you own an Internet Domain Name we can modify the WWW DNS
record and set up a host-header so that it can also be accessed from:-
www.jsconsulting.co.uk
If you want, for convenience, we can
also move the Public web folder you use for sending large "email
attachments" to be under the Website folder so the attachment link you send
in your emails looks nicer:-
www.jsconsulting.co.uk/public/report.doc
Other Website Features

The total storage space available for your account,
usually 1 gigabyte, can be made up of any combination of emails,
website files and files stored in your on-line storage.
This means there's no particular limit for
the size of your website files.

There is no bandwidth limits for the amount of traffic your
website can receive. |

We have a Web Statistics analyser program running which,
every Saturday, emails you a detailed report of who's been visiting your website in
the past week.
If you need more immediate feedback on your site visitors we can send
this Webstats email to you daily. |

|
For Group accounts, you can have a separate webmaster
account which can only access the Website folder, using
FTP, so that someone from outside your company can update your
website without having access to your other files. |
